Karmapa visits KCE and performs the opening ceremony of a new construction phase

It was with great joy that the members and students of the Karmapa Center of Education welcomed His Holiness the 17th Gyalwa Karmapa during his visit to Kalimpong.
 
For most of our students it was their first meeting with the Karmapa and so the excitement and joy was especially great.
 
After the welcome, Karmapa gave the students the oral transmission of texts for their daily practices: Green Tara, Manjushri and Mahakala.
 
In a Ribbon-cutting ceremony, Karmapa inaugurated the new buildings and thereafter took a tour of the premises to see the progress and development of the Karmapa Center of Education.
